Car Accident? Here’s What To Do:
We understand that car accidents are part of life. If you happen to find yourself in an accident, don’t panic, we are here to help you with your car repairs and in working with your insurance company.
If Someone Is Injured In The Accident:
- Call 911 for emergency help
- Turn off the ignition to avoid risk of fire
- Check for injuries
- Do not attempt to move someone who is seriously injured unless they are in more danger by not moving them
- If you are in a remote area, attempt to minimize bleeding and/or administer CPR if necessary
- Wait for the police and ambulance to arrive on the scene
If The Accident Is Minor:
- Call 911 to notify the authorities
- Stay calm – exchange contact information and insurance information with the other driver
- Wait for the police to complete an accident report
- Call your insurance provider to report the accident – your insurance agent will ask you to send them any information you have regarding the accident and will provide you with further instructions regarding the claim process
- DO NOT drive your vehicle if it is potentially unsafe
